Fairmount — Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Nance, age 76, mother of Kenneth France of Covington, who died at 12:43 a.m. Friday, June 14, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital a short time after being admitted, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 17, at the Carrington Funeral Home in Fairmount. Dennis Fulton officiated. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Catlin. Born at Fairmount, June 4, 1887, she was a daughter of Emanuel and Elmira Smoot Miller. She was married Feb. 14, 1906, in Fairmount to Wesley France who preceded her in death in 1951. She was married Jan. 16, 1954, in Catlin to Pearl Nance who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Kenneth France of Covington, Gordon France of Walla Walla, Wash., and Chester France of Catlin; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Prouty of Walla Walla; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leon Miller of Danville and Curtis Miller of Boise, Idaho, and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Overstreet of Danville and Mrs. Cora Doggett of Eugene, Ore.   --typed by Walt W
